Heidi Lorenzen's work demonstrated what happens when marketing is measured not simply by the number of leads it creates, but by the business value of those leads. In 2025, e.Republic generated approximately $30 million in qualified pipeline from 4,500 MQLs.

By August 20, 2026, the company had generated approximately $26 million in pipeline from 3,000 MQLs, reaching roughly 87% of the prior year's full-year pipeline in less than eight months. The improvement was also visible at the individual-lead level. Qualified pipeline value per MQL increased by approximately 30%, from roughly $6,667 to $8,667. The result was not simply more demand. It was a more productive marketing model.

Modern marketing earns its seat at the table by moving the business.

Marketing leadership is not measured by how much activity a team creates. It is measured by what that activity changes. The Vanguard Award for Marketing Leadership recognizes executives connecting brand, audience, customer insight, data, AI and marketing execution to commercial outcomes.

Judges looked beyond impressions, content volume and other activity metrics to understand whether marketing had contributed meaningfully to pipeline, customer acquisition, audience value, monetization or sustained business growth.
